Sister City Agreement

Minneapolis, Minnesota

Through our Community Development, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at our institute. The City of Najaf and the City of Minneapolis established a Sister City Relationship in 2010, in effort to foster our mission.

World in Conversation

The Pennsylvania State University

Penn State’s World in Conversation (WinC) is a student-driven Center for Public Diplomacy housed in the College of the Liberal Arts. The Center is an incubator for undergraduate students from all colleges to become skilled facilitators who can deftly navigate these exchanges.

WinC facilitators collectively lead on average 3,000 conversations each year making World in Conversation the largest university-based dialogue program in the United States. These conversations are both local and global, face-to-face and virtual.

These efforts focus on bringing ordinary citizens together as a base for cross-cultural understanding, trust and collaboration.

Global Language Institute

Memorandum of Understanding

Here at our institute, our students receive a Certificate of Oral Proficiency and are guaranteed conditional admission to select US universities and colleges. This was made possible by then-Director of Student Services & Collegiate Relations Teresa Dettle.
